According to a recent British Psychological Society member survey over 80 per cent of respondents consider themselves to be working within the field of psychology.The Member Data Survey was circulated to BPS members last year and with over 5,300 submitting responses. The results of the survey are summarised below. • 53.9 per cent of respondents are in full time employment. 19.6% of respondents are self-employed.• 61.2 per cent of respondents are employed in the public sector. • 45.9 per cent of respondents are employed in the human health employment sector and 30.3 per cent in education. >>>
