Waltham’s Walden names adolescent outpatient programs director

Waltham-based Walden Behavioral Care, LLC, a hospital that treats eating disorders, announced that Renee Bazinet Nelson of Framingham has been named director of Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs.

Bazinet Nelson will be responsible for all aspects of Walden’s intensive outpatient programs for adolescents, including administrative, financial and clinical management, according to the hospital. Most recently, she served as assistant director of Walden’s Worcester clinic. She is a member of the Binge Eating Disorder Association and The Psychology Network.

Bazinet Nelson graduated from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, with a Bachelor’s Degree, and studied counseling psychology at Framingham State College.  She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and completed her post-doctoral training at the Cambridge Eating Disorder Center.
