Maddison Raye Franklin graduated cum laude from Texas AM University-College Station College of Liberal Arts with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology on Dec. 19.

She was a member of Psi Chi International Honor Society, Psychology Club and conducted research in the Behavioral Therapy and Research Lab on campus.

She attended the Association for Behavioral Cognitive Therapies in Philadelphia in November, presenting research on photographic measures of Trichotillomania. She was awarded first place on her poster presentation in the Tic and Impulse Control Disorder Special Interest Group. Franklin plans to continue her studies in graduate school for clinical psychology.

She is a 2011 graduate of St. Joseph High School.

Franklin is the daughter of Ray and Cheryl Franklin, of Victoria. She is the granddaughter of Geraldine Spears, of Cuero and the late, Lynette Franklin.
