FITNESS

Strong Women Strength Training, offered by Penn State Extension at the Big Spring Event Activities Center, Newville. For women and men age 45 or older interested in a safe and simple strength training program. Classes will be held for six weeks, 8:30-9:30 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays July 9-Aug. 15. Essentials of Tai Chi and Qigong Workshop,

FUNDRAISERS

Benefit Screening of “Under Our Skin,” West Shore Theatre, New Cumberland. The Harrisburg Area Lyme Disease Support Group will hold a screening of “Under Our Skin,” a 20-time award winning documentary which exposes the political cover-up, financial conflict and medical controversy surrounding Lyme disease. Money raised will provide grants to help provide Lyme disease treatment to those who cannot afford it. 2 p.m. June 16. $10. Prevention Treatment of Spinal Compression Fractures Due to Osteoporosis, Giant Food Store Community Center, 2300 Linglestown Road, Susquehanna Twp. Stroke Detective School Age Summer Program,
