GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A University of North Dakota professor has been selected as editor-in-chief of an international journal on psychology.

The school says F. Richard Ferraro was offered the position with Current Psychology on June 28.

Ferraro's contract with the publication is for three years with the possibility of a three-year extension.

Ferraro came to the University of North Dakota as an assistant professor in 1992. From 2000 to 2005 he served as executive editor for the Journal of Psychology and the Journal of General Psychology.
