Tell someone how much they mean to you by sending them carnations on Valentine’s Day.

The Psychology Club is holding a Valentine’s Day fundraiser where they are selling single stem, red carnations at just $2 each that will be delivered to your person of choice on Valentine’s Day.

“This fundraiser is an easy way to show someone that you care and are thinking about them this Valentine’s Day. While you can certainly send the carnation to your valentine, you can also purchase one for a friend!” said Kristen DeAngelo, the president of Psychology Club.  “It’s a nice and simple gesture that will go a long way.”

In the two weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day, members of the campus community can stop by the club’s table in the Union during lunchtime.

If you purchase a carnation in advance it will be delivered to someone else on campus on Valentine’s Day as well.

On the “day of love,” people will be able to purchase carnations as well, but they will not be delivered for them.

The carnation sale is each weekday now through Valentine’s Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Union Stage. All carnations that are purchased for delivery will be delivered by 4 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.

“The Psychology Club is hosting this fundraiser because we think it is something that students and staff will be interested in participating in,” continued DeAngelo. “It is a fun way for people to let another  know that they’re thinking of them this Valentine’s Day.”

The Psychology Club holds fundraisers around campus to get students involved and interactive.

Earlier this year, they held a stress ball making station where peers and faculty were able to interact and deal with stress. The club makes students on campus aware of their services and how helpful they can be.

Come out and support their club and show someone how much you care and send them a carnation on such a special day.
