Scientists Change Peoples Belief in God and Government Using New Mind Control Device
Mind control device alters your perception on God and nationalism, scientists claim
Psychologist Dr. Keise Izuma in collaboration with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), are using a method known as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to alter people’s perception on God and immigration in a new University of York study.
Individuals were screened to verify their religious convictions prior to the exam.
Dr. Izuma, from the University’s Department of Psychology, said: “People often turn to ideology when they are confronted by problems. We wanted to find out whether a brain region that is linked with solving concrete problems, like deciding how to move one’s body to overcome an obstacle, is also involved in solving abstract problems addressed by ideology.”
Participants were asked multiple questions ranging about aspects of religion and of nationalism. Including their opinions on the Devil, demons, and Hell, in addition to God, angels, and heaven.
The York study findings, published in the journal Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, reveal that people in whom the targeted brain region was temporarily shut down reported 32.8% less belief in God, angels, or heaven. They were also 28.5% more positive in their feelings toward an immigrant who criticized their country.
The experiment uses a large electromagnetic coil placed on the test subjects forehead and creates electric currents that activate nerve cells in the region of your brain that controls your emotions. Scientist then safely block certain groups of neurons in the brains of volunteers.
Dr. Izuma said: “When we disrupted the brain region that usually helps detect and respond to threats, we saw a less negative, less ideologically motivated reaction to the critical author and his opinions.”
