According to researchers, the night-before-the-wedding Jitters can sometimes be more logical than thought by human brain.

`Jitter' is the undesired deviation from true periodicity of an assumed periodic signal. According to a study, which has been published in this week's journal Science, it has been claimed by the psychologists that the gut reactions that people feel about each other shortly after their marriage helps in the prediction that whether they would stay together four years later or not.

Researchers conducted the above mentioned test on about One hundred thirty-five newlywed couples, who all said that they were very happily married. This test is designed in order to elicit their subconscious doubts, according to the researchers.

During the test, every person was shown the picture of their spouse and then they were told to tell a positive or a negative key word, such as awful or awesome.

According to the test, people who were more positive about the relationship answered quickly but there were some people who hesitated to answer, and these people were more likely to get divorced within four years of their marriage, according to the researchers.
