Looking forward to our Annual Conference, Liverpool, 5-7 May

Online registration for next week’s British Psychological Society Annual Conference has closed, but you can still register if you come to the Arena and Convention Centre (ACC) in Liverpool.

To save time, please download the form from the conference website and complete it before you come to the ACC.

The conference takes place at the ACC, on the banks of the River Mersey right next to the famous Albert Dock, between 5 and 7 May. We look forward to meeting many members there.

Professor Edgar Jones, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London on ‘Air raids, terrorism and the crowd: Citizens at war’

Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore, Deputy Director, UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, on ‘The social brain in adolescence’

Professor Richard Crisp, Director, Behavioural Science Laboratory Work Organisational Psychology Aston Business School Aston University, Birmingham on ‘Adapting to diversity’

The conference will also see one of our North West of England Branch’s popular Psychology in the Pub events.

Come to The Liverpool Pub, 14 James Street, Liverpool L2 7PQ on the evening of Tuesday 5 May (7.30 for an 8pm start) to hear Richard Stephens talk on ‘The psychology of swearing’.

Richard, who leads the Psychobiology Research Laboratot Keele University, is Chair of the Psychobiology Section of the British Psychology Society and winner of the 2014 Wellcome Trust Guardian and Observer Science Writing Prize.

Like all Psychology in the Pub events, it is free and anyone is welcome to attend.
