Child & Adolescent Services

What can I do with a major in Psychology and an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Services?

An emphasis in Child and Adolescent Services will prepare you for entry-level human services work in settings such as youth residential treatment programs, school-based intervention services, adoption agencies, crisis pregnancy centers, child and family ministries, and other child and adolescent service settings.

In addition, the emphasis will prepare you for opportunities to complete graduate work in psychology, child and adolescent development, counseling, family and child ecology, and related disciplines.
