Beware your own psychology. For whatever reasons many Brits struggle to feel …

As soon as they start winning and building up some "roll", instead of counting their blessings and looking forwards to even greater success at the table, they start to expect everything to go wrong.

If you're like that, take care to manage your own internal talk. If you're on a winning streak, keep riding it as long as you are comfortable "inside". As soon as your thoughts start to dive towards, "it can't last… I'll probably lose it all again in the next few hands" that's your signal to take a break and quit while you are ahead, unless you can change the train of your thoughts convincingly. You can return to the game when you have acclimatised to the new level of success.
