John and Lori Bantum of Strasburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaleigh, to Terry Jackson. Jackson is the son of Tim and LuAnne Jackson of Uhrichsville.

The bride graduated from New Philadelphia High School and Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Duquesne University with a master’s degree in child psychology. She is employed by La Roche College as an adjunct faculty member and is pursuing her Ph.D at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. The bridegroom graduated from Claymont High School and Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed by Hatch Associates Consultants in Pittsburgh as a mechanical engineer.

The wedding is planned for June 7, 2013, at Gervasi Vineyard in Canton.
