Algoma University student Keith Golding, third year Marketing student from Burlington Ontario; Jamal Muckett-Sobers fourth year Psychology student from Toronto; Rhys Elliott third year Psychology student from Adelaide Australia; and Marcus Muckett-Sobers third year Social Work student from Detroit Michigan; not only moved back into student housing this past week, but are also members of Algoma University’s varsity basketball team. The 2013-2014 season marks the Algoma Thunderbirds’ first season moving up to Ontario University Athletics conference, where they will have the opportunity to play at the premier level of university sport in Ontario.
