A controversial cold case has been reopened in Orange County where a woman who claims she was raped almost two decades ago is now facing murder charges in the slaying of her alleged attacker in 1995.

Norma Esparza, now a psychology professor in Switzerland, spoke to reporters Wednesday about the charges against her.
