FORT COLLINS, COLO. — Karen Whitney of Plattsburgh, would like to announce the engagement of her daughter, Noelle Whitney, to James Currier, son of James and Donna Currier of Peru. Noelle is also the daughter of the late Scott Whitney. The couple was engaged on Dec. 25, 2012.
Noelle is a 2006 graduate of Peru Central School. She received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Albany and a master's degree and a certificate of advanced studies in School Psychology from SUNY Plattsburgh. Noelle is currently attending the University of Northern Colorado to obtain a Ph.D. degree in School Psychology.
James is a 2005 graduate of Peru Central School. He received a bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Alfred State College. James is employed as a project manager at Arlun, Inc. in Aurora, Colo.
James and Noelle currently reside in Fort Collins, Colo., and plan to celebrate their wedding in Port Kent, N.Y. on August 2, 2014.
