Waco: Community College Adds History, Psychology To List Of Degrees

WACO (June 6, 2013)--McLennan Community College has added new degree options for students.

History and psychology are the newest degree programs to be added to the list. Last year, a bachelor’s degree in health became available to students.

Graduates of the two-year programs will earn an Associate of Science with emphasis in History, or an Associate of Arts with an emphasis in Psychology.

The degrees are designed to allow students to complete a base of history or psychology courses as well as the core curriculum.

Transferring credits will give students hoping to pursue a bachelor’s degree an easier transition to any of the school’s university partners.

Graduates of the new programs will be able to pursue similar degrees at Tarleton State University and Texas Tech University.
