That large Facebook cortex
People with significantly more Facebook friends tend to have larger orbital prefrontal cortexes, which is the area of the brain responsible for social behaviour and emotion, than less digitally well-connected types. However, Internet addicts have 10-20% smaller brain areas responsible for speech, memory, motor control, emotion, sensory and other information.
