Talk to address anxiety, stress

Psychologist Ryan Madigan will speak at Lexington High School Wednesday
about ways to cope with stress and anxiety in school and at home. The talk is being hosted by the Lexington High School Parent/Teacher/Student Association  in the high school’s media library at 7 p.m.  Madigan has a doctorate in clinical psychology from Rutgers University and is an instructor of psychology at Harvard Medical School. He also works at McLean Hospital and is a fellow of Boston University’s Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders. He will discuss identifying when anxiety becomes a problem, talking to teens about the role substance abuse plays in symptoms of anxiety, and how to find the best care.
