SUNY Oswego announces local baccalaureate grads

SUNY Oswego has announced its local baccalaureate grads, and the university's 151st commencement ceremonies will be held May 12.

Clyde native Tricia M. Yadanza will receive her degree in childhood education.

Lyons natives graduating include Erica R. Bastian, who will receive a summa cum laude degree in psychology; Steven T. Darcangelis, who will receive a degree in adolescence education; and Jacob Ternoois, who will receive a degree in business administration.

Emily E. Allen will receive a degree in childhood education, Courtney J. McBride will receive a degree in business administration and Jordan K. McGuire will receive a magna cum laude finance degree. All three are from Macedon.

Newark native Mary C. Timerson will receive a childhood education degree.

Michael J. Brooks will receive a business administration degree, Sarah R. Georgianna will receive a psychology degree and Sean M. Moran will receive a wellness management degree. Stephanie L. Robusto will receive a broadcasting and mass communication degree, while Ryan A. Stewart will receive a biology degree. All are natives of Ontario.

Palmyra native Johnathan E. Denniston will receive a degree in technology management.

Walworth natives graduating include Lauren R. LoPresti, who will receive a psychology degree and Meghan A. Packer, who will receive a degree in art.

Hannah E. Ameele will receive a childhood education degree, while Edward R. Hall will receive a psychology degree. Both are from Williamson.

Summa cum laude degrees are given to students who maintained a GPA of 3.8 or higher, and magna cum laude degrees are given to students graduating after maintaining a GPA of 3.6 or higher.
