COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Affelt has made it her mission to bring awareness to stopping bullying because of a personal experience. In fact, she helped to create literature to stop bullying in schools. She was also involved in the development (produced and directed) of several videos with the same message, which have been distributed to area schools and showed in conferences worldwide. (Community involvement) not only affects you and your outlook in life, it affects others in a very significant way and it always requires being a part of that.

IF I COULD IMPROVE THE WORLD . . .

I would try to send a message to teenagers that it is important to be yourself always and to really own who you are and not to try to be anybody else.
