Industrial-Organizational Psychology Expert to Leverage Selection Science Experience in New Role

CLEVELAND, OH -- (Marketwired) -- 09/22/15 -- SHAKER, the market leader in custom simulations for pre-employment testing, today welcomed Dan Koletsky, M.A., as a relationship manager for the company's Insights Team.

The SHAKER Insights Team provides ongoing talent analytics that document business impact and drive refinement of assessment scoring algorithms. Each new validation analysis improves the predictive accuracy and power of the assessment. In essence, SHAKER's assessments get smarter over time based upon the work from the selection scientists on the Insights Team. Koletsky will leverage his background in talent acquisition and pre-hire assessments to help SHAKER's clients effectively assess and select the right individuals to drive their organization's performance.

Prior to joining the SHAKER Insights Team, Koletsky served as the talent selection and assessment manager for well-known retailer Sears Holdings, where he navigated the complexity of internal expectations and delivery of services from a portfolio of assessment providers. During his tenure as an organizational development analyst for Patrick Engineering, Koletsky honed his analytic and leadership skills while ensuring that the organization's selection system was successful as well as legally defensible. His career also has included serving as a technical recruiter for IT staffing and services firm Apex Systems.

An associate member of both the American Psychology Association (APA) and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), Koletsky earned a Master of Arts degree in industrial-organizational psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in business from Pennsylvania State University.
