The world-class Institute of Positive Psychology and Education (which currently holds 24 current or recent ARC grants) is seeking an experienced professional to become an integral part of our research program. The Institute for Positive Psychology and Education has created a rigorous interdisciplinary and collaborative research environment to facilitate both immediate and on-going collaborations of ACU researchers with international and national experts.

As the Senior Manager, Research Development, you will provide strategic advice to the Institute Director regarding the overall research and operational positioning of the institute and identify opportunities for funding through strategic planning and sourcing of funding opportunities, by building stakeholder relationships and collaborations. You will play a key role in increasing the capability of the institutes' researchers in grant application and work with the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research to streamline grant application processes and practices.

The successful candidate will possess relevant postgraduate qualifications, preferably a PhD, coupled with relevant research experience. An ability to demonstrate extensive experience working in research grant administration, policy and process review and in the implementation of quality assurance processes is essential.

Key indicators of success in this role will be in your ability to proactively and creatively identify new funding opportunities internally and externally, increase the number of successful grant applications and progress researchers' ideas and abilities into highly competitive grant applications.
