The Opportunity
The School of Psychology and Psychiatry is seeking to appoint a dynamic individual, wishing to pursue or further an academic career in Psychology as a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor (Reader level) on a continuing basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably enthusiastic academic to develop a world-class program of research that focuses on early cognitive development. You will have a well established reputation in your field, a proven research track record of external funding, and have led or have clear potential to lead an internationally competitive developmental psychology research group.
You will:
- be innovative in and lead a developmental psychology research program
- be proactive in building interdisciplinary collaborations and translating research outcomes
- be expected to excel in teaching activities in undergraduate psychology and postgraduate programs.
The appointment will be made at a level appropriate to your qualifications, experience and in accordance with classification standards for each level.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
