Mental Health America in Sheboygan County

Mental Health America in Sheboygan County is offering a scholarship in the field of mental health to high school seniors who live in Sheboygan County. Applicants must be pursuing a degree related to mental health,such as psychology, social work, psychiatry or psychiatric nursing.

UnitedOne Credit Union

UnitedOne Credit Union is accepting scholarship applications for the 2012-13 academic year. Two scholarships, valued at $1,000 each, will be awarded —one to a Sheboygan County resident and one to a Manitowoc County resident

Scholarship funds must be used for tuition and/or books and applicants must plan on being actively enrolled for the 2012-13 academic year. Only electronic applications, available at, will be accepted.

All applications are due by 5 p.m. April 1. Late applications will not be accepted. Winners will be notified after April 16.

Kohl's Cares Scholarships

The Kohl's Department Stores Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program will award more than $420,000 in scholarships and prizes, ranging from $50 Kohl's gift cards to $10,000 scholarships, to more than 2,200 young volunteers who have made a positive impact on their communities.

To nominate volunteers, visit Nominators must be 21 years or older. Two nominees from each of the more than 1,100 Kohl's stores nationwide will win a $50 Kohl's gift card and more than 200 will win regional scholarships worth $1,000 toward post-secondary education.

Ten national winners will be awarded a total of $10,000 in scholarships. Kohl's will donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on each national winner's behalf.
