  • $80,063 - $95,077 p.a + 17% super (pro-rata)

As a Research Fellow you will be part of a team undertaking research in collaboration with the Educational Program for Infants Children Inc (EPIC) Centre, and community partners in the early childhood intervention (ECI) and early childhood education and care and fields.  This joint EPIC-RMIT position will focus primarily on research of child and family outcomes associated with ECI and various strategies designed to support child development and family wellbeing infamilies ofchildren with developmental concerns and disabilities (aged 0 to 6 years) within their communities.  The successful applicant will be involved in progressing the ECI research agenda in regards to examining the effectiveness of ECI programs, including testing of tools and resources for children with disabilities and their families.

To be successful in this role you will need a strong research track-record with expertise in ECI or related fields.  Further requirements for success in this role are high- level communication skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a research team working in a transdisciplinary environment.

Key to this role is a PhD or Doctorate in Psychology or a related health science discipline.  Appointment to this position is also subject to passing a "Working with Children" and a "Police" check.
