About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic postdoctoral fellow with a track record of academic excellence and a passion for global mental health research. The postdoctoral fellow will work primarily on a project entitled 'Adolescent Resilience, Health and Security following Disasters in Asia', conducted in collaboration with Harvard University, Kunming Medical University, the Centre for Victims of Torture Nepal and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Relevant PhD qualification in clinical or developmental psychology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience conducting applied global health or other field-based research.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills including evidence of high quality written work (journal articles, company reports), high quality teaching or facilitation.
  • Skills in multivariate statistical analyses including structural modelling and multilevel analysis.
  • Track record of using initiative and working in a professional manner.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders including international partners.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
