The Opportunity

The Centre for Developmental Psychiatry and Psychology is seeking to appoint a dynamic individual, to work as a Research Assistant.

The Research Assistant will be part of an ARC funded research project on adults with autism spectrum disorders. The project is a longitudinal follow-up study, focused on social and mental health outcomes in adults with autism. This is a collaborative research project, across Monash University and the University of Sydney.

As the successful applicant, your responsibilities will include participant recruitment and testing (including mail outs, scheduling appointments, administration of various rating scales, assessments, and clinical interviews), preparation of study materials, data entry and record keeping, assistance with data analysis, and preparation of results for presentation and publication, general administrative duties, liaising with other team members and reporting to the investigators on study progress.

You will have a tertiary qualification in psychology or substantial relevant skills and work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
