What made you want to run for Homecoming Queen?

I actually didn’t run. I was nominated by one of the football players. They were the ones to nominate the girls.

How did you feel when you won?

I was caught off guard. I didn’t expect to win but I was really excited.

What were some of the things you had to do since you were nominated?

Nothing much, just put on a dress and get ready. I had to be at the football game on Friday night.

What was there reaction when you had first told them you won homecoming queen?

They were both excited, they were pretty proud.

What are your plans for next year?

I want to go to college at the University of New Mexico.

What are your future plans?

Well, long term, I’d like to get my Ph.D. in psychology. I want to be a psychologist or a therapist.
