More than 70 UW-Green Bay psychology students conducted original research and displayed their work at an end-of-the-semester poster session.
Each of these studies represents original research that includes study design, data collection and analysis. Before the poster sessions, students participated in an oral defense of their work and individually, wrote a scientific paper on their research.
Three awards were given out for outstanding projects: Faith VerBruggen, Kirsten Wideman, Amber Jagodzinski and Malorie Styles for their project, Body Language and Impression Formation; Justine Arnoldussen-Gravedoni, Thomas Bergeron, Breanna Scharp and Tanner Kelly for Homesickness in Relation to Hometown Distance in University Students; and Melissa J. Corrigan, Pamela Shellfield, Bao Nhia Xiong and Daniele Wiegand for The Influence of Romantic Relationships on Self-Esteem.
