Baytown Sun
Before getting into the subject of this article, I wish to update something in last week’s article. Part of this dealt with mounting a small bottle of smelling salts using Velcro and contact cement on airplane and car instrument panels.
This is for use by pilots, drivers and passengers. It is to keep pilot or driver from losing consciousness prior to landing the plane or getting safely off the road. I assumed, incorrectly as it turned out, that the smelling salts would be readily available at Walgreens, CVS or similar stores (although it does not require a prescription).
