A seminar on the implementing rules and regulations of the Republic Act 10029 that regulates the practice of psychology through a professional regulatory board was held Saturday at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos.
The briefing spearheaded by the UNO-R Recoletos de Bacolod Graduate School and the Psychological society aimed to make the psychology practitioners in Negros Occidental understand the law so they will be guided in their practice, Calvin Ganub, vice president of RBGS, said.
It also aimed to guide psychology students on what subjects and requirements are needed to prepare for the psychology board examinations.
Dr. Imelda Virginia Villar, a member of the Board of Psychology, Professional Regulatory Commission, was the resource speaker at the seminar attended by 167 students, professors and psychology practitioners from Negros Occidental.*APN
