Psychology Club and Cross-Country Team selling Christmas Trees – The Record

Christmas has found its way into the valley and settled on every street corner with its usual glittery red and green pizzazz.

In light of the holidays, Douglas High School's psychology club and cross-country team are fundraising by selling trees freshly cut from Oregon. After being cut, these trees are delivered to Douglas High and are sold without sales tax:

• Premium noble firs are $8 per foot

• Grand firs are $6 per foot

• Douglas firs are $5 per foot

These trees are available for purchase at the south end of the campus behind the home bleachers on the following dates:

• 3-6 p.m. today and Dec. 16

• 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Dec. 17

• 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and Dec. 18

This is a great opportunity to contribute to the psychology club's suicide prevention and awareness among Douglas High students, as well as, a chance to donate to the cross-country team.

That way, you're not only invigorating your holiday spirit, but you're also assisting two important programs at Douglas High School just by purchasing a Christmas tree.
