The theatre company has worked in numerous genres ranging from heart-stopping thrillers to heart-warming comedies. Being one of the theatre groups whose plays aren’t restricted to a certain age group, Aamhi has seen kids aged 5 years to adults around 65 years in their plays.

The theatre company has staged seven plays from August 2014 to February 2015 and is staging plays every month till December. Even though it has been almost two decades since its origin, Aamhi welcomes one inexperienced actor in every play.

A company full of working professionals, you might just catch them rehearsing on your morning walks in Cubbon Park.

Aamhi theatre company is staging two Hindi psychological thrillers, Guinea Pigs and Ring Again at Alliance Francaise de Bangalore on Saturday.

Guinea Pigs delves into the possibility of music being a tool of manipulation. It is known that music psychology has healed many a wounded soul, but has it ever been used to kill?

A 1980s play, Guinea Pigs revolves around a scientist who exercises his knowledge of music psychology and succeeds as a human puppeteer. The intricate plot involves a series of mind games and an Indian mixture of The Pied Piper and Hannibal Lecter.

The second play, Ring Again deals with the concept of fear of death. Is it possible that a simple phone call can induce so much fear in a person that it leads to his death? The intense play walks along the lines of the interrelation between fear and death.
