And what is the current best scientific evidence on how addictions should be treated?

His expertise is in personality, violence and substance use.

Walsh will speak on the topic of addictions in the Gorman Brothers Room at the Rotary Centre for the Arts on Thursday, Oct. 25, starting at 6:15 p.m.

The event is hosted by the Okanagan branch of the Centre for Inquiry.

Admission is $2.
