President visits Senate House library

Today (16 July 2015) President of the British Psychological Society, Professor Jamie Hacker Hughes visits the leading national psychology resource at Senate House Library, at the University of London. He will meet Head Librarian, Jackie Marfleet.

The Society has had strong links with the library since 1947. In 2014 our large collection of books, journals periodicals and Society publications fully merged with Senate House Library’s own extensive collection to create one of the most extensive psychology collections in Europe.

Most of our membership grades include a free reference card giving access to this resource. As well as the Society’s collections this includes onsite access to all Senate House Library’s print collections and digital resources. Discounted borrowing cards are also available for other BPS members, including student members. Additionally, the Society has agreed special offsite access to ebooks and online journals for candidates registered for its professional qualifications.
