After relocating to Newton from West Roxbury this summer, the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (MSPP) officially opened its new Wells Avenue campus Monday, Aug. 27.

According to Kristin Wetherbee, a spokesperson for the school, the new space provides an improved and updated learning environment to support the "close-knit MSPP community" and the experiential learning offered to MSPP students.

The MSPP Freedman Center, which was previously located at the Newton Cultural Center, has also moved to the new facility on Wells Avenue.

The new building has up-to-date technology and supports the school's growing student body, Wetherbee said.

MSPP offers degree and certificate programs in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, organizational and leadership psychology and school psychology.

Classes at the new campus start Tuesday, Sept. 4.
