The cut-off list released by Delhi University for the academic session has left many in a daze. With SRCC and LSR offering Economics (Hons) and Psychology (Hons) at 100.75 per cent and 100.5 per cent, one can clearly notice the jump in the first cut-off list this year, as compared to previous years’ lists. However, instead of being indicative of an increasingly intelligent batch of school graduates, the astoundingly high cut-offs are falling back on the notion of marks being the most important aspect of a student’s life.
