Nordheim native graduates with honors from A&M-Kingsville

Emalee "Ema" T. Green graduated summa cum laude from Texas AM University-Kingsville with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in nutrition Dec. 12.

Green was chosen to present her honors senior thesis research project, "The Effect of Diet and Exercise Frequency on Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia during the Tower of London Task" at several venues including the Society for Advancement of Hispanics/Chicanos and Native Americans in Science conference in Los Angeles.

She has continually been on the president's list, maintaining a 4.0 grade point average. She was a member of the President's Undergraduate Research Program (TAMUK), Golden Key International Honor Society, president of Psi Chi international honor society and was recently selected for the Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities Award.

Green plans to earn her doctorate degree in clinical psychology and work at an eating disorder rehabilitation center. Green is a 2011 Nordheim High School graduate and the daughter of John and Lori Green of Nordheim.
