Noida girl Mythili misses CBSE top position by one mark

Mythili Mishra, a student of Amity International School, Noida, secured second position across India in the CBSE class 12th examination. Mythili is also the Uttar Pradesh State Topper with 99 percent.

With 495 out of 500 marks, 17-year-old Mythili has just one mark less than the all-India topper, M Gayatri. The results were declared on Monday afternoon. A Humanities student, Mythili scored full marks in History and Economics, 99 in English and Psychology and 98 in Political Science.

Mythili sharing her success secret with iamin said, “I did not take much stress while preparing for the exams. It is not that I was studying throughout the day. I just sincerely studied for particular hours every day. However, I didn’t expect a result like this, but I am more than happy.”

Mythili is not just good in studies but has been at par with the extracurricular activities as well. Aparna Jha talking about her daughter Mythili, said, “She has won awards in painting competitions and has been the editor with the school magazine as well. I am really proud of her.”

Mythili talking about her results said that she owes the success to her parents and school. “My parents have been very supportive and patient of me. Also, the kind of teaching we got in our school, there was no need for joining coaching classes. I just followed the guidelines of my teachers sincerely.”

Amity school Principal, Renu Singh said Mythili has always been a bright student and was regular with her studies. “The hardwork of the students and the teachers has paid when we see results like this. 51 students from Amity School, Noida scored 95 percent and above in Class XII All India Board Examination, it shows our teaching method and guidance has proved its mettle,” she said.
