According to reports by Channel News Asia, Singapore police said that a man in his 80s was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital about 10am local time and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Antony Kidman had a fall in his hotel room after breakfast, the Australian Woman's Weekly reported.  

Dr Kidman was visiting his daughter, and Nicole's younger sister, Antonia who lives in Singapore with her husband Craig Marran and her six chidden.

Dr Kidman worked at Royal North Shaw Hospital as a clinical psychologist and was also a director of health psychology at the University of Technology Sydney.
