Kelly Klump, Michigan State University Foundation Professor of Psychology, has been named to the Clinical Advisory Board of The Renfrew Center, a nationally acclaimed eating disorder treatment facility.

Klump was chosen for her level of knowledge, leadership, reputation and insight into the current and future direction of eating disorder research.

Specifically, Klump’s research focuses on finding the causes of eating disorders. Her work has been recognized globally, including the Price Foundation Award for Research Excellence in 2012. She has been awarded the American Psychological Association Early Contributions Award, and has served as the President of the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED). Klump is a Fellow of the AED and the Association for Psychological Science, and is also a licensed Psychologist.

The Renfrew Center was established in 1985, and was the nation’s first residential eating disorder facility. More than 65,000 women have turned to the Center for treatment, and more than 25,000 professionals have been trained in Renfrew facilities. The Renfrew Center is the largest network of eating disorder treatment centers.
