Moore elected Psychonomic Sociey chair

Cathleen Moore, professor of psychology in the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and head of the Iowa Attention and Perception Lab, has been elected 2016 chair of the Psychonomic Society’s governing board. She will begin as chair-elect in 2015 and assume her role as chair the next year.

Moore has been a member of the board since 2011 and served as editor of Psychonomic Bulletin Review from 2011-2014 and as associate editor from 2002-2005. In addition, she was a member of the editorial boards for Psychonomic Bulletin Review, Journal of Experimental Psychology, Attention Perception Psychophysics, and Visual Cognition. She also served as chair of the Psychonomic Society’s ethics and audit committees.
