For admission to DAV College, Sector 10, the prospectus-cum-admission forms will available from June 11 for Rs 400. The college offers a number of undergraduate and post-graduate courses. Among these, BCom, BSc (Biotech), BA (Elective English, Psychology, Public Administration, Physical Education), all honours courses and post graduate course in English are the most popular courses at the college.
Bcom application forms will be available online from June 14. For all other courses, forms will be available online from June 11. In addition to general degree courses, the college also offers post-graduation diploma courses in Computer Application, Marketing Management, Mass Communication and Personnel Management and Labour Welfare with 60 seats each.
The add-on courses available at college include Translation (English to Hindi) Journalism, Counselling and Guidance, Industrial Chemistry and Electronic Hardware Maintenance.
In MA English, the college offers 60 seats and in MA Psychology (30 seats), MA Public Administration (60), Sociology (50). In Msc (IT) the college offers 60 seats, 15 each in Bioinfo and Biotech. Thirty seats each are on offer in Chemistry, Maths and Zoology and 20 in Physics.
The last date for submission of forms is July 2 and the merit list will be displayed by July 6. Thereafter, admissions will be conducted from July 9.
The late admissions with Rs 500 as late admission fee will take place between July 27 and August 8.
