Men with a deep voice are more attractive to women finds study

A new study has found that women get attracted towards men who have a low-pitched deep masculine voice.

The study also says that such men have a higher chance of cheating but still get more female attention.

Women find such men to be good partners for a short term relationship since they know that men with deep voices have a tendency to stray.

The study was done by researchers by a team from the McMaster University in Canada.

The study let us have a deep understanding into human choice of mates and the way we have evolved as a species.

The lead author of the study Jillian O'Connor, a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience Behaviour said, "The sound of someone's voice can affect how we think of them."

She said that it was never clear why women would be attracted to men who they felt would cheat on them. They found that women consider them for a brief relationship since they don't have to worry about fidelity then.

The study saw women reject men with deep seductive voices as long-term partners though they were attracted to those voices as they felt that he would cheat on them.
