Marissa Sbrilli of Hillsborough inducted into Psi Chi

Marissa Sbrilli of Hillsborough, a student at Quinnipiac University, was inducted into Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, during a March 1 ceremony.

Psi Chi strives to encourage, stimulate and maintain excellence in scholarship of individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology.

To qualify for induction at Quinnipiac, the students had to: major in either psychology or behavioral neuroscience; complete at least three semester of college credit, including nine credits in psychology; be in the top 35 percent of their class based on their overall grade point average; and have a minimum psychology GPA of 3.5. The inductees were also required to have completed the university's "Introduction to Research Methods" course.
