Tell our readers about yourself: I am a people person, a passionate community advocate, and I know how to connect people and get results.

I have two grown children, Allie and Sydney and have enjoyed the opportunity to volunteer in the community as they grew. In 2010 I was elected as a Kitchener trustee with the Public School Board.

I have extensive experience in private industry, the not — for — profit sector, government and high — tech in fund development and account management and daily, I use my skills to connect employers with bright minds at UW.

What are the 3 issues that you believe need the most attention in your municipality (school board)? What do you intend to do about those issues if elected?

Aging Infrastructure — I will advocate that our fair share of funding be allocated to Ward 8 for replacement. I will vote to maintain our reserve funds so that money is there when needed.

Traffic — I will advocate that transportation demand management initiatives be implemented in Ward 8. I will promote the use of technology to model traffic flows to predict the effects that traffic calming has on neighbourhoods before implementation.

Ward 8 needs a representative that builds bridges with councillors, staff and the public to get things done. I will build those bridges and be a positive, proactive and inclusive voice on council.

Do you have, or have you ever had a criminal record?

No.
