Margaret Edwards Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

FROSTBURG, MD (05/23/2013)(readMedia)-- Margaret Edwards, a graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Edwards, who received departmental honors in psychology, is pursuing a goal of becoming a clinical psychologist. She has presented a research poster at the Eastern Psychological Association in New York, served as an undergraduate learning assistant and is completing an internship at Garrett County Lighthouse, a behavioral health organization. She has been a member of the psychology honors society, Psi Chi, the Honors Program and the Psychology Club. Edwards participated in field hockey for four years, was captain for two years and was selected as an Academic All-American. She will begin Marywood University's clinical doctorate program in the fall. She is the daughter of Amelia and William Edwards of Lebanon.
