You are stressed since the past few days

If you are a professional worker or a student, perhaps you are into more stress. According to Psychology Today, that "falling in love" phase in almost every love and relationship is related to stress.

"As welcome as falling in love might be, evidence links the experience with higher levels of the stress hormone cortisol," the website said, citing Marazziti and Canale. "So if you're anxious, tense or just plain jittery, it might be a normal response to the strain of repeated social encounters with someone whose impression matters deeply to you."

Live Science even elaborates by saying that a person falling in love may experience loss of appetite, a racing heart, fast breathing, heightened energy and more, as "being in love is a form of addiction."

You feel that your feelings are returned

Psychology Today further points out that people falling in love may think their feelings are returned, making this develop into something more. The website said women feel this sign more than men do.

"People in love regularly exhibit signs of emotional dependency on their relationship, including possessiveness, jealousy, fear of rejection and separation anxiety," Live Science reported.

You are tempted but hesitant to say "I love you"

This expression is global trend especially among best friends but psychology says that the more hesitant you feel saying these words mean that you are falling in love. This is the science of love and relationships, phase one.

You just cannot sleep

You may have worked out all day, did household chores all day or worked in the office all day but when you find it hard to doze off, science says you might just be really in love. Relationships experts and psychologists believe that a person in love invests so much times and energy to that person that sleeping is one of their least priorities.

"People who are in love report that they spend, on average, more than 85 percent of their waking hours musing over their 'love object,' Live Science added.
