A number of local students were among the 906 students to be named to the president's list for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Potsdam.

Those making the list were Katie Beck, of Macedon, majoring in childhood/early child education; Benjamin Hall, of Macedon, majoring in biology; Charles Robinson, of Marion, majoring in biology; Zachary Slocum, of Marion, majoring in history; Paige Williams, of Newark, majoring in music education; Audrey Cooper, of Ontario, majoring in psychology; Diana Gugino, of Ontario, majoring in psychology; Jenna Wylie, of Ontario, majoring in music education; Krislynn Fisher, of Williamson, majoring in childhood/early child education; James Kersey, of Williamson, majoring in mathematics; and Mark Montondo, of Williamson, majoring in music performance.

To be named to the president's list, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
