Campbell Earns Honors

Lucy Campbell a member of the Class of 2013 at Skidmore College has received honors at the college this spring. She is the daughter of Murray Decock and Sally Campbell of Hamilton.

Campbell has been elected to membership in Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology, founded in 1929 to encourage scholarship and advance the science of psychology.

Psi Chi membership is open to students who have a major interest in psychology, a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher in psychology courses, and a grade-point average of 3.3 in all college courses.

Colligan Named to Dean’s List

Stonehill College recently named Cazenovia resident Lauren H. Colligan, a member of the class of 2012, to its Dean’s List for the spring 2012 semester.

To qualify for the Dean’s List at Stonehill, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Area Residents Added to Dean’s List

Dr. Stephen J. Havlovic, vice president for academic affairs at Alfred State, has announced the Dean’s List of students for the spring 2012 semester.

The following were among the over 500 students from Alfred State who made the spring Dean’s List: Zachary Taylor, a resident of Bouckville; Peter Compoli, a resident of Chittenango; and Brian Klein, a resident of Madison.
